What is a Raid Battle?

A Raid Battle is a co-op game mode where 4 Trainers join forces to battle a Raid Boss Pokémon.
Each player brings 2 booster packs of their choice (packs must be purchased to participate).

To begin:

• Each Trainer opens 1 of their 2 packs.

• From that pack, choose 1 Active Pokémon and 1 Benched Pokémon to battle with!

• You only need to look at the damage on the cards — ignore all other effects unless they boost your damage!

Battle Rules

1. All 4 Trainers attack together, starting with Player 1 and moving clockwise.

2. Once all players have attacked, the Raid Boss strikes back!

3. If the Raid Boss is knocked out, all Pokémon on your team are fully healed, and you face the next Boss!

4. You may retreat (swap Pokémon) before attacking. The Pokémon swapped out keeps its damage, and the new one can’t attack that turn.

5. After your first Raid Boss win, open your second booster pack and swap one Pokémon into your team.

6. If your Pokémon is knocked out, you get a Knockout Counter and a Cheer Card (you’ll learn how to use it during the game!).

How to Win

• Defeat 3 different Raid Bosses without the team losing 4 total Pokémon.

• If you succeed, your team will win a Pokémon Prize to share!

But beware! If 4 Pokémon are knocked out across all players…
The Raid Boss wins!
